Online booking service is available for Pop Up/Tent Campers, Pickup Campers & Tents Only - Thank you for choosing Mystery Mountain Resort
The campsites available for online booking are located in our heavily wooded camping area, situated in the tall ponderosa pines. Water and electric sites can be booked for tent camping, though they most likely will have a gravel pad. Call for details, if you have any questions.
Partial Sites (water & electric-30amp) and Tent Sites (no utilities) are available for online booking:
- Partial Sites for pop up trailers, pickup campers and small vans
- Tent Sites for tents only
- Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire pit
- One family unit per site

* Due to the volume with the online booking server, there are times it may take 2 or more days for an online reply or confirmation. Please call for reservations if you plan to arrive within 72 hours.
Online reservations require a deposit equal to one nights (2) person camping rate, to be confirmed. All information fields must be filled in, on the online reservation card, inluding type of vehicle/RV, credit card information with 3 digit V code on the back, billing address, etc. Additional person charges and information, are posted on the Camping/RV page. Please read our Cancellation and Refund Policy on the Camping/RV page or our Rental Information page, prior to booking a campsite. Online booking campsite rates are also listed below.
The following cannot be booked online.
- RVs over 18'
- Groups
- Family reunions
- Tent campers who require utilties at the site
- Cabins and Guesthouses
- Reservations for Sturgis Motorcycle Rally dates August 1 through August 10
We have more pine trees here at Mystery Mountain Resort than most campsites in the Black Hills. Therefore, we prefer that you call if you have an RV other than a pop up or pickup camper, so we can better accommodate your needs, with the proper size and location of the campsite. Our lodging units consist of 8 different floor plans and types, so we prefer to give you a full, detailed description on the phone, prior to you making a reservation. Groups are welcome to call our reservation line for group rate quotes.
Summer Season Rates
Tent Site - Up to (2) people, $24.00/night
Water & Electric Site - Up to (2) people, $29.00/night
Additional family members age 6 and above at the site, will be charged $3.75 per person, per day.
Off-Season (Spring/Fall) Rates
Tent Site - Up to (2) people, $19.00/night
Water & Electric Site - Up to (2) people, $24.00/night
Additional family members age 6 and above at the site, $3.50 per person, per day.
Our larger partial & tent sites are designated on our resort map, with a box around them. Our regular partial sites are for small pop up/tent trailers and pickup campers. The larger partial sites will accommodate medium to large pop up trailers.
Our regular tent sites will accommodate one small to medium size tent and one vehicle. The larger tent sites will accommodate a large tent or a couple of small to medium tents and in some cases, up to 2 vehicles. If you have any questions regarding sites, rates or deposits, please give us a call or email us. All online campsite reservations will be given our regular site rate regardless of the site chosen. Mystery Mountain resort is an AAA/CAA and Good Sam affiliated park.
